Grading Scale of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy
Grading scale of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy according the currently valid doctoral examination regulations of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy:
0 – summa cum laude (excellent)
1 – magna cum laude (very good)
2 – cum laude (good)
3 – rite (satisfactory)
The following half grades are permitted:
0,5 – excellent to very good
1,5 – very good to good
2,5 – good to satisfactory
The final grade is calculated based on the grade for the dissertation with a weight of 60% and the grade for the oral examination before the panel of examiners with a weight of 40%.
The final grade results as follows:
0 – excellent (summa cum laude)
to 1,3 inclusive – very good (magna cum laude)
below 1,3 to 2,5 inclusive – good (cum laude)
below 2,5 – satisfactory (rite)
